This policy explains how GoFo Tracking ("we", "us") handles information when you use this website.

Tracking numbers

When you search, the tracking numbers you enter are sent from our server to GOFO's public tracking service to fetch results. If you only search, we do not store your tracking numbers or the results. Our server may keep short-lived technical logs (such as errors) that do not include the numbers you search.

Email alerts

If you sign up for email alerts, we store your email address, the tracking numbers you chose to follow and their latest status, so we can tell you when something changes. We use this only to send those alerts.

  • Nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link in our first email.
  • Alerts stop automatically when a parcel is delivered or returned, or after 30 days.
  • Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your email address deleted completely, contact us.
  • Emails are delivered through our email provider, which processes your address on our behalf.

Browser alerts

If you turn on browser alerts, your browser gives us a push subscription (an anonymous address issued by your browser's push service, such as Google, Mozilla or Apple). We store it with the tracking numbers you chose to follow, and use it only to send those alerts. Alerts follow the same rules as email: at most one a day, stopping after delivery or 30 days. Turn them off any time on our alerts page or in your browser's site settings.

Information stored in your browser

We save your preferred time zone in your browser's local storage so the tracker remembers it. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising in future, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Third parties

  • GOFO receives the tracking numbers you search, under its own privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site and may receive your IP address.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete any data we hold about you — for most visitors that's nothing; for alert subscribers it's your email address and followed numbers. Contact us.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes.
